A Minute Shortfilm...

I always wanted to create a history in a minute or less that gives to the viewer reasons to think about their lives and world sorround.

I would start with a marionette and show how it can be control, be manipulate. Slowly we see the puppeter controlling it, but wait, this puppeter also has strings throughout his body, he´s a marionette too and he´s controlled by another person that also is marionette. This scene repeats in a form of a loop over and over again.

The message that I want to show is that every person in this world is controlled or dominated by another person, and most of the time we don´t realize how can we be easily used. We might feel that we are free and independent but sadly the true is that we are just subordinates of a system.

Let´s Talk About Insecurity...

Ok, I need to get this out of my chest, it´s about the recent murder of a college student here in Caracas for a Blackberry, first of all it´s a shame to have this kind of events in our country and how a human life can be determined just by a cellphone.

But I´m really fed up of the people who blame this tragic event just only on the security organisms or on the goverment. Ok, it is true that they have a big responsability related to protect and serve the integrity of all citizens and throughout decades (specially this last one) the problem has increased into alarming levels of violence, but in my opinion, the family environment is also responsible for the violent acts.

Without adequate education of a loving family a person can be affected in numerous ways, and one of them it is the development of asocial behaviors that can be led to agressive and violent conducts putting at risk the rest of the society.

So, yeah the goverments have a big part of the responsability, but as long as "low quality families" exits this problem and many more are not going to solved...

My Thoughts About Water

You had been probably heard about the word "Water Wars" somewhere on the news or in a magazine and how this sounds ridiculous, but sadly it is a real situation that some countries have right now and maybe, in my opinion, it wil be a major issue around the globe in a near future.

Many people say that coorporations have the total responsability about the privatization of water resources, and in a way this is true, but I think that the real responsible are the goverments who give the permissions to this companies without any regulations, seeking for their own monetary benefit and leaving behind the people´s interest.

So if we want to stop this, we have to focus our attention in our goverments and presidents, not in international cooporations, we have to stop corruption that´s the first step to resolve this problem and many more...

Christmas With My Family? Yeah... I Dont Think So...

For many people Christmas is the time to forget all obligations and spented time with the family, a time of joy were everything is envolved around delicious food and cool presents. This is their ideal picture of Christmas, but for me it´s another case.

I don´t know if it´s about the way I´ve been raised. All my life, my parents have been entrepeneurs and had stores since I was a child, so most of the holidays they worked non stop and I got used to spending those holidays working with them or doing something else by myself and this year was no exception.

When everybody was celebrating with their loved ones I didn´t waste time and I got busy doing my Theorical framework of my thesis, so... If you think that my holiday sucked, don´t worry, I got used to it hehehe...

Why in the world am I doing this?

Well, if you are reading this, firstly I have to point out a warning . If you are one those people who have English as a mother language, I excuse myself if my English writing skills suck, but this blog is my first attempt to express my beliefs and how I see the world without any repression from anybody.

So... if your like what I say about the world your are more than welcome to keep reading, if not, i recomend you to refute everthing that you find out wrong in my essays, or, make your very own blog... : )
